CAROLVS • D : G : MAGN : BRITANN • FRAN • ET • HIB • REX • crowned, draped and cuirassed bust left, with falling lace collar, XX behind, rev. • FLORENT • CONCORDIA • REGNA • crowned shield dividing crowned C-R, 8.98g, 7h, M.m. anemone on obverse, B both sides (Schneider II, 271 same dies; Brooker 705 same dies; North 2294; Spink 2719), graffito scratched above value and traces of adjustment crown, otherwise with natural reddish tone and hints of flare in recesses, rather honest, a pleasingly bold very fine, rare.
