Victoria (1837-1901), 'Barmaid's Ruin' Double-Florin, 1888 'Arabic 1', Jubilee head left, rev. crowned shields cruciform, sceptres in angles, milled edge, 22.63g, 12h (ESC 397; Bull 2699; Spink 3923), some very faint contact marks to the face and obverse field, lustrous and toned surfaces, a really bold extremely fine, struck in the year of the infamous Jack the Ripper murders.
