An Historical Assembly of Great Britain, Iron Age to Napoleon (10), including: Durotriges, AR Quarter-Stater, geometric 'three men in a boat' design, 0.52g (Spink 368), lightly porous, a bolder fine; additionally, Anglo-Irish, King John, Penny, Dublin, Roberd, 1.26g, 7h, a field find with brightness and traces of porosity, otherwise a bolder fine; and, Edward I 'Longshanks' (1272-1307), Longcross Penny, 1305-1307, Class 10cf2, Canterbury, 1.40g, 8h, dark patina, good fine; also, Elizabeth I (1558-1603), Sixpence, 1568, Tower, 2.79g, 4h, m.m. coronet, flat, scarcely good; another, Halfgroat, 1584-1586, 0.96g, 7h, m.m. escallop, poor; and, Charles I (1625-1649) (3), Shilling, Group F, 1639-1640, Tower (under King), m.m star, fine / very fine, as usual for this poorly produced Civil War issue; also, Halfgroat, 1635-1636, Tower, m.m. tun, flat, toned, fair; and, Penny, m.m. illegible, lightly toned but really well struck for such a diminutive issue, some flatness otherwise good very fine; lastly, George III, 2 dwts 16 grns brass coin very, with coffee-pot countermark, very fine; and, Bolivia, Charles IV, 8-Reales, 1791-PR, Potosi, circulated in England as a Dollar of 5-Shillings, poor (10).
