Jacobite Succession and the Stuart Line, Gilt AR Cast and Chased Medal, c. 1712, by J. Croker / N. Roettier, ANNA AVGVSTA, laureate and draped bust left, rev. CIVIS EST, armoured and draped bust left of James III, plain edge, 47mm, 32.72g (Eimer 457; MI ii 382/232; Farquhar 1914-15, 267; Woolf 28:3), previously removed from a mount, some areas of damage to the gilt surface and very lightly warn to higher points of the stippled field, otherwise with some brilliance to the legends and busts, about extremely fine and extremely rare.

This medal is believed to be from a small series of medallic portraits of members of the Stuart Family executed probably about 1712. The portrait of Anne is taken from the medal commemorating the Capture of Douay by J. Croker.
