Medal, King George V, Indian Army Meritorious Service, Silver Medal, Awarded to "Armourer Daffadar Mahfooz Beg, 13 Lethal Range", an award made for service in Egypt in WW1, Obv: bust of King George V, legend around "GEORGIVS V KAISAR-I-HIND", Rev: a central wreath enclosing the word 'INDIA' surrounded by the legend "FOR MERITORIOUS SERVICE" with a continuous border of lotus, flowers and leaves round the circumference, engraved on the edge "48 ARMR. DAF. MAHFOOZ BEG, 13/LRS.", along with a bar and maroon with white color stripe, 37.5g, 36.53mm, (MYB. 2007 # 214), about extremely fine, Very Rare in this condition.
