The symbolic artistry that characterizes this series is even more substantial on the silver, like we see here, with the volcano-Qorikancha motif encircled with a wreath and well toned for contrast, the sunface on the obverse with just rays (no flags) and on this issue topped with five stars as from the REPUB. SUD PERUANA (see the previous three lots) and with rosy-toned fields, traces of encrustation around details. Note: The printed catalog (only) shows the wrong photo for this lot.
