Chocolate brown with bold details, some crust on ships' high points, appears to be superior to the plate piece on AC page 68, clearly XF by modern U.S. grading standards, but graded VF by Adams, whose tag says "For some reason, this variety never comes in XF." XRF: 43.81% copper, 46.46% zinc, 7.18% lead. Pedigreed to the John Adams Collection (with his handwritten tag).
