Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, 1650 O, with crowned-L countermark on cross. S-P35; KM-19b; Cal-1488. 27.05 grams. Broad flan with no corrosion, choice full cross-and-tressure with bold full date, the countermark nearly full, also full but weaker shield with interesting five-dot ornaments above and below the mintmark-assayer to left and denomination-assayer to right (also with three horizontal dots between 8 and O) per Mastalir IIG muled with cross side "a" (date in normal position), which is rare, the obverse deeply toned but the reverse just toned on fields. Recovered from: Maravillas, sunk in 1656 off Grand Bahama Island.
