France (La Rochelle mint), ecu, Louis XV, 1725-H. Gad-320; KM-472.9; Dupl-1670. 19.34 grams. Typically worn and corroded (especially the obverse, which is a bit shiny), but with bold reverse showing clear date, nice toning, typical adjustment marks, actually above average quality for this wreck that was salvaged in a high-energy ocean environment. Recovered from: Le Chameau, sunk in 1725 off Nova Scotia, Canada.
Estimate: $200 - $300
