52.17 mm; 59.37 gms. Elizabeth I (1741-62). Dia-111.1 (R3); Reichel-4461; Smirnov-51. By J.G. Waechter. "ALEXIVS COMES A BESTVSCHEF RIVMIN", Alexey, Count Bestuzhev-Riumin; wigged and mantled bust of Alexey left, four line inscription below, "IMP. RVSS. OLIM. CANCELAR./ NVNC. SENIOR. EXERCIT. DVX./ CONSIL. ACTV. INTIM. ET/ SENAT. PRIMVS.", formerly Russian state chancellor, at present field marshal, real secret councilor and first senator, initials below; Reverse: "IMMOBILIS. IN. MOBILI.", unmoved by motion, the counts personal motto, two rocks in the sea, sunshine on the left and lightning strikes on the right; in exergue, "SEMPER IDEM/ MDCCLXII.", ever the same 1762. VERY RARE according to Diakov, it is a very nice specimen with minor chops and some edge bumps, but overall a very handsome medal. Cleaned long ago. BOLD VERY FINE.
