Bust of Sultan Abdul-Medjid in plumed hat, facing, "ABDUL-MEDJID-KHAN EMPEROR DES OTTOMANS"; Reverse: Victory with a short sword in one hand and a Turkish staff in the other stands before the Citadel of Silistra (now on the Bulgaria/Romania border), legend "EUROPE ILS ONT VAINCU POUR TOI", date in exergue. Pleasing gilt surfaces, reflective in the fields. ALMOST UNCIRCULATED.
