Includes: 36 mm copper medal for the siege and liberation of Neuheusel besieged by the Ottoman Turks and liberated by Austrian troops in 1685; 31.75 mm brass medal with bust of Turkish ambassador to Prussia Asmi Achmet Effendi on obverse and seven line inscription on reverse, 1791; 50 mm French bronze medal with Barre bust of Louis Philippe on the obverse and a wreathed Arabic inscription on reverse, 1842; Bronze advertising medal by Maudslay Sons London firm with the obverse of an Alt 1255 20 Kurush coin of Turkish ruler Abdul Mejid I on one side and an ornate arabesque design on the reverse, 1851 (edge damage); a silver British campaign medal for Turkish Crimea with faded original ribbon (MY-120iii); and finally, a 51 mm bronze Calcutta International Exhibition award medal (MBI-883.2.2). Retail value of about $900. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. VERY FINE-ALMOST UNCIRCULATED.
