36.5 mm; 26.68 gms. Fr-52; KM-62.2. Contemporary counterfeit, struck in platinum. Diagonally reeded edge. Not listed in Calico's Fantasies and Counterfeits, but die work similar to Cal-1628 and 1644-both platinum counterfeits that use a different Popayan/JF reverse. This one shows a diagonal die break on the reverse from 11 o'clock to 4 o'clock. Light hairlines visible only under magnification. Choice dusky gray surfaces. CHOICE ALMOST UNCIRCULATED.
