Jose I gold 800 Reis 1766-B Clipped NGC, Bahia mint, KM180.1, LMB-347, Guimaraes-1766-1.1. 1.43gm. A moderately circulated piece showing ample remaining detail to the well struck motifs; just the clipping of the edges, a common 1700's malpractice, plagues the issue. Only the second to hit the market in recent years, the other example showing the same grade qualifier.
