FRANCE. Small "Medal" for Use as Jewelry.
33mm silver, uniface, by Coudray. A woman's face surrounded by flowers. Thin piece, the back incused. A number of medalists in France (including Karl Goetz!) found work, or tried to, in the jewelry trade. Many small art-nouveau medals are almost jewelry anyway, needing only to be made wearable. CHOICE ALMOST UNCIRCULATED.
