Several different weights and other factors are illustrated. The book is quite large measuring 335mm x 230mm. Red leather cover with marbled inner cover and extra page. Six page introduction in French text which then leads to an amazing grouping of advertising notes for Bradbury Wilkinson, Waterlow & Sons, Imprimerie E. Defosses, Joh. Enschede en Zonen and Orell Fussli. There are 13 different paper stocks used, with each of the five printers being represented on each for a total of 65 individual impressions which are faces and backs on the same page. Each note separated by wax paper with paper designation type at upper right of each and Francais des Papiers Fiduciaires watermarking. A truly remarkable item that will fascinate all involved in the hobby. Uncirculated.
