INDIA. Reserve Bank of India 1,000 Rupees, ND (1937). P-21b.
(Jhun4.8.1B) Calcutta. A design type and denomination not offered nearly enough to satisfy collector demand. This very large format KGVI series shows quite nicely with inks and detail that would rival a higher grade. Payment refused stamps in black seen twice on face and again on back with additional hand stamps on back as well. The note shows with a bit of rust from some of the pinholes present and common for the issue internal tears are noted. However, highly presentable and surely a lot that will excite collectors. PMG Very Fine 25 Net. Rust, Internal Damage.
