"POUR / AVOIR DONNE / A L'INDIGENT / CE QUE VOTA / / LA RECONNOISSANCE / POUR LEURS / PLAISIRS / 3. 9BRE. 1789"; The municipality of Lorient minted token to honor the selflessness of the soldiers of a detachment of the Bassigny regiment, who had abandoned to the indigents of Lorient a gratuity which had been granted to them. The 2nd battalion of the Bassigny regiment (future 32nd infantry) will serve in the West Indies in 1791; AUNC
