GERMANY. Bronze Medals by Karl Goetz, ca. 1914-19.
4 pieces in lot. Comprised of the 1914 "Born During the War" (Kie-153), a later recast of the famous "Sinking of the Lusitania" (Kie-156), "The Malt Racketeers" (Kie-182) and "Town and Country" (Kie-219). All pieces with nice old collection patina, the Lusitania recast showing the most actual wear. A few small rim bumps and a couple of very light contact marks are the only issues of note. Should be examined. Retail value of more than $600. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. EXTREMELY FINE-ALMOST UNCIRCULATED.
