GREAT BRITAIN. Accession of George IV Gilt Bronze or Gilt Copper Medal, 1820.
69.75 mm; 128.05 gms. BHM-1010; Eimer-1123. By Rundell, Bridge & Rundell. Armored laureate bust of George IV facing with head turned left; Reverse: Three line inscription within oak wreath tied at bottom with a rose (England), thistle (Scotland), clover (Ireland) and Hanoverian horse below. A large impressive medal with hardly any contact marks. One rim bump at 12 o'clock on reverse and a tiny scratch on the edge at 6 o'clock near which is a lightly stamped "M". EXTREMELY FINE.
