Half-length figure of the Virgin Mary, orans, within city walls with four towers; uncertain sigla / Christ standing facing, blessing Michael IX and Andronicus II kneeling to either side. Very Fine; obverse struck from worn die. Rare variant with position of emperors interchanged.
