MUGHAL: Shah Jahan I, 1628-1658, AR nazarana rupee (10.40g), Akbarabad (=Agra), AH1054 year 18, KM-249.1, mount removed, pierced & plugged twice, lightly tooled, Very Good, RRR. Appears to be the same dies as the gorgeous specimen illustrated in KM, a classic example of a nazarana coin that has indeed been used as intended. Listed value is $10,000 in the new KM catalog in VG condition.
