ARAB-SASANIAN: Ziyad b. Abi Sufyan, 665-673, AR dirham (2.65g), GD (Jayy), blundered year, A-8, contemporary imitation, with carelessly engraved mint (so undoubtedly not actually struck at Jayy), and a meaningless date, clipped down to post-reform Umayyad standard, VF, RR. Mochiri has assigned this type to the Yazidiya religious movement, and read the mint/date as "dushdew", meaning "evil devil" (his #7).
