ARAB-SASANIAN: Glass vessel stamp (3.94g), ca. 680s-720s, B-6a-var, mouflon facing left, his head turned forward, Allah to the right, rabbi to left (off flan on this piece), light brown, slight devitrification, Fine to VF, RR. The related type was published by Balog in 1974, in the Studies in honor of George C. Miles, Beirut, 1974. The mouflon, ovis orientalis, also appears on copper pashiz of Tanbuk mint (Gyselen-59, A-41B).
