EGYPT: Hussein Kamel, Sultan, 1914-1917, AR 2 qirsh, London, 1917/AH1335, KM-317.1, very rare proof strike produced at the British Royal Mint, NGC graded Specimen-64, RRRR. As the Royal Mint struck only proofs during this period, this example must be a proof strike and not a specimen strike indicated on the holder. This is an extremely rare early proof coin, and much more rare than the Heaton mint examples. This is the first recorded example we have encountered.
