Victoria (1837-1901), Maundy set, 1857, Four, Three, Two and One Penny, each with young head left, legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA DG BRITANNIAR REGINA FD. Rev, crowned mark of value with date either side all within oak wreath (S.3916; Bull.3501; ESC.2468). Toned, with mirrored fields and an amber mint brilliance permeating across all pieces, housed in a maroon box. An excellent set, much eye appeal. Much as struck.
