Victoria (1837-1901), Maundy set, 1888, Four, Three, Two and One Penny, each with Jubilee best left, legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA DG BRITANNIAR REGINA FD. Rev, crowned mark of value with date either side all within oak wreath (S.3932; Bull.3545; ESC.2502). Subtle grey cabinet tone with an underlying olive colour distributed across the prooflike fields, about extremely fine despite a soft strike, in case, scarce.
