Rev, long cross fourchee over quartered shield of arms, reads POSVI DEV Λ DIVTOR E MEV, 3.14g (S.2316; N.1762; Whitton 1, pl. XIII; Stewartby p.437, (i). Executed on a large and full flan, exceptional portrait with mirrored fields, legends clear both sides, fully lustrous with almost all of the original mint bloom visible. Recorded
as very rare in Stewartby with mintmark Pheon, in more cases than others castle or crowned portcullis are the mintmarks encountered for this first coinage profile issue. Much as struck, very rare, a first-rate specimen.
