MEXICO. KM# 43 (A&C# 662) –8 Reales (1572-1598) Mo O. AU.Ceca y ensayador a la izquierda, denominación a la derecha, variedad de 8 redondo, escudo y cruz visibles en sutotalidad, leyendas legibles en gran medida, cospel de gran tamaño, ligeramente cóncavo e irregular en bordes. Aunque lejos de considerarse un "galano" en cuanto a perfección de cospel y ejecución del grabado consideramos la presente como una acuñación bastante cuidada, que, sin ser perfecta denota una cierta meticulosidad tanto en el centrado y troquelado siendo estos superiores respecto al promedio, ciertas líneas en campos de origen y puntos altos que exhiben mínima circulación, la más completa que hemos manejado y uno de los mejores ejemplares observados, 27.5 gramos de peso. No existe un 8 Reales anterior de México que se pueda adquirir por este precio

Mint mark and assayer to the left, denomination to the right. Round 8 variarity, Full shield and cross. Large planchet with almost all legends visible. Slightly concave and, irregular on the edges. Although far from being considered a "galano" in terms of perfection of planchets and, execution of the engraving, we consider this to be a very careful struck, which, without being perfect, denotes a certain meticulousness in the centering and, die cutting, being superior to the average. It has certain lines in the fields and, high points that exhibit minimal circulation, the most complete we have ever handled, and, one of the best specimens known, 27.5 grams of weight. There is no previous 8 Reales from Mexico that can be acquired for this price.
