ΦIΛETAIPOY Athena, wearing crested Corinthian helmet and long chiton, enthroned l., extending r. hand to hold shield decorated with gorgoneion to l., left arm cradling long sceptre and resting on throne back in the form of a small sphinx seated r.; in l. field, ivy leaf, in r. field, bow and in exergue, monogram. Rare. A very elegant portrait of excellent Hellenistic style with a light iridescent tone.
