Tetradrachm circa 460-450, AR 17.21 g. Slow quadriga driven r. by charioteer holding reins and kentron. Nike, above, flying r. to crown the horses. In exergue, ketos swimming r. Rev. ΣVRAKOΣI – Ω – N Head of the nymph Arethusa r., wearing pearl-diadem, earring and necklace; surrounded by four dolphins. Boehringer 481. SNG ANS 149 (these dies). SNG Lloyd 1314 (this obverse die). Rare. Struck on very fresh metal on an exceptionally large flan.
