French Somaliland Banque de l'Indochine, Djibouti 100 Francs ND (1945) Pick 16s Specimen PMG About Uncirculated 55. A seldom seen World War II note from Djibouti. One of three such examples offered in today's comprehensive sale. This note began live as an issued banknote, but was quickly morphed into a Specimen with red overprints and hole punched cancellations. Minor rust is mentioned on this piece, but it does not negate the fact that it is rare in any grade, and missing from many collections. This specimen note is plated on page 258 in Raphael Dabbah's Printed in Palestine reference book.
