French Somaliland Banque de l'Indochine, Djibouti 100 Francs ND (1945) Pick 16s Specimen PMG Choice About Unc 58 EPQ. Five denominations of notes for the Banque de L'Indochine were printed in Palestine during World War II. This handsome 100 Francs is a middle denomination of the series. PMG deems this an "Expedient Specimen" as this began life as an issued banknote, and was converted to a Specimen after the fact. Six hole punched cancellations and a red overprint are noted for accuracy. Rare no matter the format, especially so in this excellent grade. This specimen note is seen on page 259 in Raphael Dabbah's Printed in Palestine reference book.
