French Somaliland Banque de l'Indochine, Djibouti 1000 Francs ND (1945) Pick 18p Front and Back Proofs PMG Encapsulated. This is a curious proof. Notice that two uniface sides have been adhered together. Each side has been used and handled. The serial numbers, prefix, and signatures are spurious; they were written by someone during the banknote creation process. Very rare in this interesting format. These proofs are plated on page 304 in Raphael Dabbah's Printed in Palestine reference book.
