Iran Kingdom of Persia, Imperial Bank 1000 Tomans ND (1890-1923) Pick 10s Specimen PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ. The 1000 Tomans is the highest denomination of the series and an absolute key note for Persia / Iran. This imposing Specimen features a serial number range of only 100 pieces, which indicates that a mere one bundle of notes was printed for this date (which is left blank on this Specimen but would have been applied to the issued banknote). We have not offered this denomination in the past and currently only two Specimen have been graded by PMG, both of which grade Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ. A printer's annotation and Perforated cancellations are mentioned for accuracy. Of the highest degree of rarity and a crowing note in today's special sale.
