Two scarce higher denomination notes are offered in this lot, both of which have become challenging to obtain in any grade. Both notes are problem-free, an the handsome $500 was granted EPQ status by PMG. The large sized $100 is long obsolete and the vast majority of $500 and $1000 notes were redeemed after the Southeast Asian financial crisis of 1997. A good example pair of obsolete banknotes.
