Somalia Central Bank of Somalia 50 Shilin = 50 Shillings 1982 Pick 34pm1; 34pm2 Front and Back Printer's Model PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ (2). A beautiful pair of printer model prototypes are included in this lot. The face side is hand signed by Mohamud Jama Ahmed, the Chairman of the Central Bank of Somalia at the time. This prototype is remarkable similar to the issued banknote, so perhaps the signature of Chairman Ahmed indicated his approval of the design. Rare and interesting. A printer's annotation is mentioned on the front printer's model.
