At bottom of oval portrait, Mr. Jackson Dodds/Bank of Montreal/X-V-76/Canadian Bank Note Company Limited. Also, approval initials and the date 11/1/30. A second Die Proof Vignette of Jackson Dodds, with a slightly smaller portrait. (X-V-112). The vignette appeared on the $10.00, $20.00 and $50.00 denominations of the 1931 issue and the $10.00 and $20.00 of the 1935 issue of the Bank of Montreal.
