PHOENICIA, Arados. Circa 138/7-44/3 BC. AR Tetradrachm (28.5mm, 15.28 g, 12h). Phoenician standard. Dated CY 142 (118/7 BC). Turreted and veiled head of Tyche right / Nike standing left, holding aphlaston and palm; BMP (date), Phoenician G, and ΔN to left; all within wreath. Duyrat 3153–8 (obv. die D27); HGC 10, 72; DCA 772. Toned, scattered marks, some die wear on obverse. VF.
