PHRYGIA, Hierapolis. Second to early 3rd century AD. Æ (21mm, 6.32 g, 6h). Bareheaded and draped bust of Demos right / Youthful hero standing left, wearing military dress, holding branch and bipennis. RPC IV.2 Online 2034. Green patina, light earthen deposits, some roughness. Near VF. Very rare, only three known to RPC, this coin superior to the illustrated specimen.
