KINGS of MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great'. 336-323 BC. AR Tetradrachm (26mm, 17.21 g, 12h). Damaskos mint. Struck under Menon or Menes, circa 330-323 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; in left field, forepart of ram right; ΔA below throne. Price 3202; Taylor, Damaskos, Series 2, 93 (A14/P39 – this coin). Toned, underlying luster, slightly off center, graffito in field under tone on reverse. Good VF.
