IMP C G P ESVVIVS TETRICVS AVG, radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Spes advancing left, holding flower and hem of skirt. RIC V 135; Mairat –; AGK 12a (same reverse die). Red-brown patina, patch of green deposits. VF. Extremely rare.

Rare earliest obverse legend of Tetricus writing out his family name ESVVIVS. The Cunetio hoard contained two coins with this obverse legend with the Victory reverse type, none with Spes as on this coin.
