KINGS of MACEDON. temp. Philip III – Antigonos I Monophthalmos. Circa 323-310 BC. Æ Half Unit (16mm, 3.96 g, 9h). Uncertain mint in western Asia Minor. Macedonian shield; boss decorated with head of Herakles facing slightly right, wearing lion skin / Macedonian helmet; kerykeion to lower left, monogram to lower right; no legend. Cf. Price 2803 corr. (no legend on rev.) for similar; otherwise, unpublished. Dark green patina, pitting, cleaning scratches. Near VF. Very rare, unpublished issue.
