LUCANIA. Poseidonia. Circa 470-445 BC. Nomos (Silver, 20.5 mm, 7.96 g, 2 h). ΠΟΜΕS Poseidon striding to right, extending right arm and brandishing trident in left hand, with chlamys over his shoulders. Rev. ΠΟΜΕS (retrograde) Bull standing left on ground line. HN III 1114. SNG ANS 657. Scrape on obverse and minor porosity, otherwise, good very fine.
