Trajan Decius, 249-251. Aureus (Gold, 20 mm, 4.47 g, 12 h), Rome, 249-250. IMP C M Q TRAIANVS DECIVS AVG Laureate and cuirassed bust of Trajan Decius to right. Rev. ADVENTVS AVG Emperor on horseback left, raising right hand in salutation, holding transverse scepter in left. Calicó 3283. RIC 11a var. (but also draped). Attractive, clear and toned. Some very minor scrapes, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
