Carus, 282-283. Medallion (Bronze, 31 mm, 26.29 g, 6 h), Siscia. IMP C M AVR CARVS P F AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Carus to right. Rev. MONETA AVGG The Three Monetae standing facing, turned slightly to the left, each holds a cornucopia with her left hand and, in the right hands of the outer Monetae, a short-handled balance, and, in the right hand of the inner Moneta, a long handled balance; to the left, at the feet of each, pile of coins. Cohen 42. Gnecchi II, pl. 122, 2; Pink, ANS Cent. Publ., 1958, p. 554, 1. Very rare. Thick blackish green patina. Fields somewhat smoothed and some strengthening, otherwise, very fine.
