SICILY. Selinus. Circa 415-409 BC. Hexas (Bronze, 17 mm, 3.91 g, 11 h). Head of youthful Herakles, with a light beard, to right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. ΣE The weapons of Herakles: bow and quiver. Buceti 38. Calciati 11. HGC 2, 1238. SNG ANS 716-20. A lovely, well-centered example, with a dark green-brown patina and sharp details. Extremely fine.
