GHAZNAVID: Mas'ud I, 1030-1041, AR broad dirham (3.31g), Balkh, AH429, A-1620, SNAT-740/41, unusual calligraphic style, different from all regular dirhams of Mas'ud from Balkh dated AH422-431, VF, R. Found with the group of Qarakhanid dirhams of Kashghar & Yarkand dated AH426-431, perhaps by trade along the Silk Road, which passed through these two areas (most likely), or perhaps a pseudo-Qarakhanid issue (less likely).
