AQ QOYUNLU: Hasan, 1453-1478, AR tanka (5.64g), Kanâreh, AHx76 ("6" retrograde), A-2516F, countermark with formula 'adl-i hasan beg inside the right portion of the dynastic tamgha, mint name to left, on early tanka of Timurid Shahrukh, type A-2401.1, style of Yazd mint, VF on Fine host, RRR. Kanareh was a village near the ancient ruins of Persepolis in Fars Province, known only from the countermarked Aq Qoyunlu coins with this type of mark.
