KM-4.1; Cal-521; Sellschopp-32 (plate coin). Weight: 13.45 gms. A wonderfully detailed 4 Reales cob. The obverse shield is as stunningly sharp as the crown above it. While much of the legend is flatly struck, the ever-important mintmark and assayer's initial are rendered boldly and in full. The reverse is slightly less well-executed, but still exhibits plenty of problem-free details and striking. The lovely silver-gray tone gives this Plate Coin a regal look.
